I've still got a scanner, printer and WLAN antenna of which were derecognized, as soon as XP surlpassed Windoas 2000. Now I'm stuck with perfectly good, if not better than newer Made in Yellow Perilstan junk. Besides the already inherent boot software for these peripheral gadgets, I also have obsolete software such as earlier Abbey Reader programs of which have neither been superceeded nor even continued.
I cast my eye on one of these operating systemless replacements, so that I could load up my Windows 2000, a couple weeks ago. I couldn't get around to go picking it up and now they claim to be permanently out of stock:

What would be an as good or even better alternative? I don't plan on going online with it and speed isn't as important as reliability
