By "drugs" I mean to include SSRIs. Matt Walsh thinks there's a link. I have no opinion, but I am curious. Has anyone gone down this rabbit hole?

Regarding Columbia U. interference-study that only 11% of mass shooters had lifelong psychosis.

I think the definition of a mass-shooter as killing 4+in one event is decent, it rules out a lotta gang-bangers since those events (practically speaking) only claim 1 or at most 2 at a time. This is a specious study tho bcuz lifelong psychosis isnt the same as temporary side effects of drugs (like lunatic-pills)

I strongly suspect that lunatic-pills are one of many factors in the increasing prevalance of mass-shooting chimpouts. I dont expect any serious studies on this however since theres no money to be made in gettin people offa lunatic-pills.

This broken ZOGbot (aka the "NAFO shooter") who kilt all those people in the bowling alley was 40 years old when he started hearing voices which is a cardinal symptom of psychosis. Its very rare to suddenly become a psychotic in middle age, this sort of thing almost always manifests in early adulthood. Lunatic-pills side-effect? Mayb.

It is hard to say because the principle of correlation is not causation. Mentally ill people would be more likely to be on psych drugs so they’re already in a category that is more likely to commit these kind of crimes. But I do think that when people come off of crazy pills their condition worsens. I tried Paxville years ago and couldn’t stand them. They are evil these psych drugs. When I was young I had this idea that an anti-depressant would be like a happy drug almost like a high but of course that’s not the reality. I know it’s a good idea to stay off pharmaceutical psych drugs. It’s actually a good idea to stay off all psychotropic drugs. I am not sure of the benefit risk analysis with schizophrenics
