Aryo-Paganism & Aryo-Christianity, though seemingly distinct, are far from incompatible.
A harmonious coexistence is not only possible, but, indeed, one may find Pagan Christians & Christian Pagans alike.
As Aryo-Paganism stands in relation to Aryo-Christianity, so Jap. Shintoism stands in juxtaposition with Zen Buddhism.
The sole discrepancy lies in the application of the 'divide and conquer' stratagem to matters of faith in Europe. This is the basis of all the discord.
If it were not for this, the relationship between the two would parallel that between Shintoism and Zen Buddhism in Japan.
In Japan, such an approach remains unutilised.
