The third meeting of the Northwest Branch of Long Island Ocelot Club was held at our home in Seattle, Washington. My husband, Milt, and I tried our best to be good hosts while our ocelot, Jay Jay, displayed his noble yet snooty attitude as though all LIOC members and guests attended the meeting only to admire him. It was a big disappointment to everyone that our Northwest Coordinator, Mrs. Wilbur Tracy and her husband of Portland, Oregon -- and a l s o a t least one of their lions -- 'were unable to attend. Dr. James Foster, our "exotic" Doctor was also unable to attend but plans to attend the next meeting, as do Mr. & Mrs. David Relling of Bremerton, Washington. They have a 450 lb. Lion, "Adalord. " Due to the big turnout, I will not list the names of people attending. We hadat least 40 members and guests. Two unexpected guests were Dr. Raymond Marty and his lovely wife, Carole. Dr. Marty is presently working in the field fo Cancer research. They are enthusiastic about owning an ocelot or a margay.
