Deep macrobius history. I used to live in the upstairs of this old Seattle Zoo/Bremerton vet family (the old man was in his 90s when I rented it.

Google {adalord lion bremerton} for details

My two cats, George and Foxy, have a long proud tradition following Adalord, with a 450 lb. goal weight. We called that property -- where indeed a 450 lb. lion used to wander the house we rented -- 'Home of the Relling Burger. That's because we contemplated using the circular driveway to start a business... 'Welcome to Relling Burger... would you like fries with that. The old man was a beloved vet and sometime zoo-man at Seattle's Fremont Zoo, and raised an abandoned Lion cub (it happens with lions)... IN BREMERTON, where Nazis used to prowl back in the day. I don't think the Lions and Nazi/Aryans ever met though (Hal Covington used to hang there, with Adalord, just across the pond from The Order), but I think having a Lion prowling around your house is pretty Aryan, don't you?

The third meeting of the Northwest Branch of Long Island Ocelot Club was held at our home in Seattle, Washington. My husband, Milt, and I tried our best to be good hosts while our ocelot, Jay Jay, displayed his noble yet snooty attitude as though all LIOC members and guests attended the meeting only to admire him. It was a big disappointment to everyone that our Northwest Coordinator, Mrs. Wilbur Tracy and her husband of Portland, Oregon -- and a l s o a t least one of their lions -- 'were unable to attend. Dr. James Foster, our "exotic" Doctor was also unable to attend but plans to attend the next meeting, as do Mr. & Mrs. David Relling of Bremerton, Washington. They have a 450 lb. Lion, "Adalord. " Due to the big turnout, I will not list the names of people attending. We hadat least 40 members and guests. Two unexpected guests were Dr. Raymond Marty and his lovely wife, Carole. Dr. Marty is presently working in the field fo Cancer research. They are enthusiastic about owning an ocelot or a margay.

The Ocelot Club (y)

My favourite memory of Vet David is standing on the deck where Adalord once prowled, and informing him (at age 90 when he was visiting from his new home in my homestate of Arizona....) 'There are squirrels living under your deck'. His answer: 'How cute'. Hell, yeah. Lions, squirrels under the deck... Doc loved 'em all.

There is gab of it. [2]

Adalord had a sad end though. The doc realized when he started raising small children there, he needed to cage Adalord in the barn across the drive, because, like pitbull on steroids.

But once, long ago, in a magickal place called Bummerton-near-Ilahee... a lion used to RAWR and the monkeys of the Savannah trembled.
