It's every parent's nightmare: their own child gets kidnapped. In Nuremberg, men are currently trying to lure elementary school students into cars.
Fear runs rampant in the Ziegelstein district of Nuremberg. As the "Nürnberger Nachrichten" reports, unknown men are said to have approached elementary school students and tried to lure them into their vehicles with candy.
Janine Mendel is spokeswoman for the police headquarters in Central Franconia. At the request of the "Nürnberger Nachrichten", she explains that there are currently two concrete attempts reported: On January 16 at around 1 p.m., according to the accosted child, an attempt by a stranger on the corner of Weissenoher Strasse and Ermreuther Strasse was said to have taken place: the man I asked the child if he wanted to ride along. And offered him candy.
In one case, there was a forensic description given
The child refused (obviously
). The same applies to the second case: On January 25, a man is said to have tried to lure a child into his vehicle, displaying candy. According to authorities, the child confided in its parents, after which investigations began.
According to "Nürnberger Nachrichten", the descriptions of the perpetrators differ and the police are currently evaluating material, including video recordings.
In the second case on January 25, the child was able to describe the stranger: about 1.80 meters tall, with a mustache, wearing a dark hoodie and dark jeans (transparent skin color also?). At the beginning of February, there will now be an informational event taking place for parents at the Ziegelstein elementary school. And the police are stepping up their patrols.
