Anti Wage slavery Website (an idea)

So. What's a good name? Termiteunderground.org (already have it), WageSlavery.org, CorporateMonopoly.org, UndergroundRailroad.org. Got any better names / domain names?

I figured that my dream website would be an all out assault on corporate America. It would include both leftists and rightists. It would have class based economics, survivalism, small business, bash your employer, vent at the corporate world, post employer reviews, cryptocurrency education. Then it would allow the big corporations and their supporters to come on and pathetically defend themselves.

It wouldn't primarily recruit White Nationalists because I've kind of trolled my way out of that circle over the years. I also think given 16 years, I could overcome the password phising thing and still go with a forum format instead of a blog (a blog also isn't a good format for a debate website). However, I may have some work to do to overcome reputation issues. One thing I'm not going to do is install social networking software. Not a good format for a debate website.

I want a website where anyone can log in and start their own topic because it would be more chaotic. Then total warfare on large corporations. That's the left/right synthesis insofar as the left and right are both anti-corporate. But basically allow free speech. Let the idiots come on and debate with their pro-corporate views. More trolling leads to more activity.

One mistake I made with free media productions is not putting the main website on the base URL. Instead you had to go to /Editorials to see the blog. Thephora autoredirects, the point is if you type in the main domain name it should go right where the action is - not to some front page that you then have to renavigate.

I do not understand exactly what the website/forum would do or what its audience would do.

Maybe set something up like auto admit or GLP if you want some level of chaos.

Maybe look at how Unz has his website set up. You could combine one part articles with another part comment sections.

I think that is a security feature as a way to avoid an injection attack.

I'd dump that. There are already way too many forums/pages/newsletters dedicated to that. It is also very localized what is available.

Otherwise looks good. You need to try to keep away antiwork losers somehow. They bring a very negative energy to anything they touch.

I like the categories.

Problems with Zogbux.us are two things
1) it implies openess to discussing the Jewish Question (but a lot of potential audience could care less or would be opposed to it) and
2) it implies that the forum is only American. Might as well recruit as far as the English language will take you.

But I personally like the name, but I don't think I would chose it for those reasons.

Of course discussing Jews would be allowed on the forum in a miscellaneous thread, but I don't know if I'd go so far as to include them into the title of the website.

I'm looking up phpbb, mybb and smf, to see which is the best free one these days.

I feel comfortable promoting an anti wage slavery website to my friends in real life. Like I feel a lot of people would identify with that.

I like Reddit because I'm able to watch what I say. But there are certain things you can't say on reddit. I'd advertise it as a free speech alternative to reddit, with more structured debating.

Inmate writing is another category I want to weasel in. If I choose a generic name like powerpunch I can have both wage slavery activism and inmate writing on the same forum.

Terms like "Gangster Bolshevik" and "Termite" are not attractive to the average person. I still support them, but they're not good for naming a website after.

You could but it's inefficient when you could just run forum software. Because wordpress is really a blogging platform and you have to use a plugin to make it a forum.

I want it to be an anti-slavery forum, so it supports both wage slaves (getting free) and inmates in jail.

When I looked at the free forum softwware,
mybb doesn't fit well on a mobile device (it's last MAJOR update was 2018): https://community.mybb.com/
PHPBB doesn't have a like button if you look at their support forum: https://www.phpbb.com/community/
SMF does have a like button on posts : https://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php

One thing SMF lacks is personal profile posts, but I could both open the shoutbox to everyone and have a forum category called "I / me" where people talk about themselves. You could install a mod but the problem with mods is that you may be dead on the next upgrade or the upgrade to version 3.0.

The advtantage of xenforo is those personal posts. If I went with xenforo, it would be because of those personal posts.

workingCLASS.org, workingASS.org, vaxed.org, slavelabor.org, whitecollarturncoat.org, reviewmyboss.org, economicfreedom.org, powerpunch.org (I like that one)

I looked up
mybb: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MyBB
smf: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simple_Machines_Forum
phpbb: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PhpBB

It looks like mybb hasn't been updated since 2018, so that's out.

I'm leaning SMF. That's what scopevision used (my old forum). To see a live example of smf, go to www.jtf.org/forum

I vote for workingASS.org

By the way, I like .org because it implies that troll tactics against employers should be done in real life. They should be organized. That's why I never really thought of .net.

The question is how low brow do I really want to go? workingass.org works if I want to really take it there. It really will be a gutter website, but maybe that's the way to go. I need gbs to weigh in.

There should be a subforum called "troll central (coordinate your chaotic stunts, online and offline)." Come to think about it, it should be a troll website in general, but trolling employers should be a big part of it. Trolling employers should get a whole subcategory with the multiple forums Overwatch/Phoron created.

Right now the votes are wodow, cole/prak, and a person who I won't out the identity of - workingass (3)
Linstedt and Breck - powerpunch (2)

www.termiteunderground.org/forum/index.php

So I tried to install smf, but I have a virtual private network server, and it didn't like the database being on a different server than the main server. I had to go with phpbb. SMF wouldn't work.

Anyways, for now I'm keeping my old domain name, termiteunderground.

If you register don't use the same password there that you use for your email, social media or here. I haven't tested whether the mailer properly mails out now accounts.

So far it sucks. Complicated to set up and can't log in now. Error messages were at the top of the screen until I shut them off too. God doesn't want me to have a forum. I'll bump this thread when I actually see an improvement.

Never use PHPBB. It's enough to drive you nuts. I coudn't even log in. I had to supress error messages. I couldn't sign up a new account. When you set up forums in phpbb, if you use a new category, it defaults to zero permissions so the forums are hidden from you.

Anyways I'm up and running with mybb and to make up for mybb not being reponsive design (for mobile) I downloaded a theme that makes it responsive design (a third party theme).
