End of the Petro-Dollar system

It's puzzling as to why past administrations have made it a point to avoid slaughtering their sacred Saudi cow

The amazing part is that it's actually part of the mainstream narrative now. It's like they're telling everyone "it's coming" and it's gonna suck w/o worrying about the public reaction whereas, 10 years ago, they were scoffing at the people saying the same thing.

The 'oil crisis' with OPEC in the Nixon administration (and its implications for the security of Israel) is what set this all up.

The petro-dollar system is more or less synonymous with the Neo-Liberal World order (Nixon Coup forward) and its Deep State allies (from Deep Throat/WaPo alliance onwards). As Jim Willie pointed out long ago, the Saudis eventually 'settled' (Carter admin) by putting their assets in Citibank in the form of 25-30 year CDs. These matured starting... you guessed it... the beginning of the Second Gulf War. The outcome of that episode was, however, the collapse of the financial order in the West, around the time the longer maturity bonds matured.

Never underestimate the interest the Oligarchs have in 'coupon-clipping'. It's what they leave to their children, and the foundation of their dynasty.

What is happening is that the Soros administration (Obama, Biden) is challenging the Neo-Liberal World Order (Carter, Rockefellers, Clintons, Bushes and for that matter Pelosi). You see a Colour Revolution and fighting in American streets (Floyd riots, 2020 and the 1/6 'atrocities') because two powerful cartels of Oligarchs are fighting for control of 'the Empire'.

If you think of the Atlanticist Alliance as Shiites and the Soros faction as Sunnis, the situation might make more sense. There's a complication though -- the Atlanticist Alliance are Seveners (think, Aga Khan, Lord Mountbatten, King C3PO), where as the Iranians are Twelvers.

The Progs (Democrats since Wilson) are Gnostic Illuminists (like Khomeini was in Iran). When Obama 'bought off Iran' on his way out the door, with that nuclear deal, he was buying off the Kerries and Mr and Mrs Hilldawg too. Soros vs Qaddafi (remember Blair) and the Clintons is what Benghazi was about.

This Arab Spring/Colour Revolution started in Algeria/Libya and it is the real reason why the Ukraine is such a battleground -- there are three interested parties there (two Western and the Russians). Don't forget that the current government in the Ukraine started with the Soros faction overthrowing

The mouthbreathers in the MSM and their audience have trouble counting beyond the number 2.

Why is it all happening now? Soros may be joining his pals celebrating their centennials with Satan... any day now. He can spend eternity in discussion with the Neo-Liberals and Black Guelph and White Kangs royals over whether 'if only we had; if only you had'. Makes the Meritocratic faction look like spring chickens.

What's in your wallet?

To the extent I still carry a wallet, I have an RFID shielded card case I use to to carry some credit/debit cards, my drivers license, and a legacy medical system 'insurance card'. That's all you really need to carry these days besides a sail-phone. I carry it (and the sail phone) inside a 'fanny pack' I wear under my jacket, which could be traded for a money belt, and if I carry cash, it's no longer in my 'wallet'.

I don't expect either the cash or the wallet to be useful in a collapse, though if they issue 'new dollars' in a hyper inflation, hording the old bills for use on the black market will be quite useful. The Kurds did this when Saddam Hussein had a new currency printed up, in the last days of his regime. It held its value as a 'finite fiat currency' for many years, behaving exactly like BTC -- periodic asset peaks (corresponding to effective hyperinflation of the competing, unlimited fiat), and did better at holding value than USD even, until the US landed boots on the ground and enforced 'sovereign, unlimited fiat'.

Actual valuable goods > finite fiat (BTC, Ye Olde Saddam bux' for finite supply US currency in real dollars [silver certificates] that are 'still honoured' to the extent you can find any) 'while you can keep them' > unlimited fiat

Watch and learn.[1]

Speaking of the so-called Meritocratic faction of the Illuminati, I think they've made a comeback and now it's clearer who "they" are. Arguably, Musk and the Paypal Mafia and whoever's with them in the USA (seemingly at least some of the military, intelligence and financial establishment, if you look at some of their connections with SV), and Xi and Putin abroad, are the most important of these. That one has become much clearer over time.

The one that remains mysterious from the old HLI material is: who are the public representatives of the group he called "Three". Remember that he said "we already have a robust and grassroots presence" in 2016. Which means, we should already have seen their fingerprints on recent history if he was telling the truth. They were involved with the Kennedy family in the past and the sudden appearance on the scene of RFK Junior was interesting. But note that his platform was crossover-oriented: Both anti-vax and pro-woke. Probably "Three" is actually more active in propagandizing on the Left side of things these days, but they are actually aiming at undecideds and alienated types across the ideological spectrum. I suspect that they had a hand in some of the recent Third World (and pro-Muslim) candidates coming to political office and that they have promoted woke and DEI for strategic reasons, some of which involve getting Jews and/or compromised/establishment figures out of positions of influence. HLI was also openly pro-Indian and note that Silicon Valley was taken over by Indians since 2016. All of this would make sense because he admitted that their group has the habit of using movements or tendencies that already exist as a vehicle for revolutionary activity; when asked "what comes next" he answered "that depends more on you [i.e. the plebs] than us".

As for the Petro-Dollar System, it also became obsolete over time. It no longer makes sense for the Gulf Arabs to be at the center of US plans when the USA is the world's largest producer of oil and Arabia's supergiant fields are in productive decline. The USA also produces an enormous amount of natural gas. It's basically more of an energy cartel state than Russia is now. For how long that will last, I don't know, since America's oil dominance relies on the Permian Basin and its other major plays are declining, but the plays likeliest to become game changers these days are in the New World as well (Venezuela/Guyana). So the energy question has shifted like a kaleidoscope in the last couple of decades and the old order of things has not survived the turbulence. We see how the Arabs are pivoting to BRICS+ as a reflection of this. The future also looks bleak for Europe any way you slice or dice it because they are entirely dependent upon imported energy so that means servitude either at the heels of America, the Russians or both.

@Charles Silvius Haddock I've been trying, recently, to re-interpret the HLI taxonomy in terms of the current alliance of 'Classical Liberals' and 'Civic Nationalists' (Coughlin and the late Rich Higgins, who at least both held power in the Second Republic before being booted, which is actually an accomplishment):

My ultimate goal is to make Kitsap Social the primary distribution point for such materials, and substack (which will be subverted one day) secondary. My 2024 move is to transition from Twitter/Gab to Substack

Substack is currently like a sort of 'Auld Phora' meetup of content creators. FWIW, BAP, T777, Fisted-Donkey, and Roland are all there.

SB 2.5 but they will need Web3 shortly.

Critical text to read for strategy, imho, is Ouspensky's 1919 'Letters from Russia' about what living through a real Bolshie Revolution is like --

It's pretty clear the Meritocracy group has to be pro-Chinese and neo-Confucian (which doesn't mean they are allied with the PRC but they may be). Attitudes to Plato are another big clue. Maybe a thread at whigdev to follow up on this.
