Hierarchal Ideologies fail on the battlefield

The trackrecord for ideologies that oppose hierarchy defeating ideologies that support it is pretty solid. The American revolution, the Bolshevik revolution, The American Civil War, World War 2. Arguably WW1. I believe the reason for this is that nobody wants to be placed at the bottom of a hierarchy and people will shed blood to avoid it. An interesting thing is that some people think the Nazis would have won if they were pragmatic enough not to invade Russia. However, their anti-slav and anti-Jewish racism would have eventually done them in even occupying Poland if they didn't moderate their views (which again would be pragmatism, not right wing extremism). Now empires were successful, like the British empire, but when you go to the right of that you see a pretty steady trend of oppressed people beating the oppressor. It remains an open question how Italian Fascism would have done if Mussolini had not allied with Hitler, but my guess is even though he didn't have a racial hierarchy, he still had an economic hierarchy and people at the bottom of it still would have resisted it. We can't say as definitively though with Italian Fascism.

The one exception here seems to be Israel and Palestine, but Israel is only winning because it's a client state of the United States which is a large empire. Also, the Muslim countries have their own problems with religious fundamentalism. You could argue that it's right wingers fighting other right wingers, even though leftists clearly sympathize more with Muslims than they do with Israelis.
