Note that it is called a CGI cartoon "image", and not a photograph. They don't call it a photograph because it is not one.
They want idiots to fill in the blanks, and assume that it was photographed, without actually calling it a photograph. Because even the writers of this article know that to call this a "photograph" is to say something that is patently false, and very easy to disprove.
(Of course, anyone who isn't a complete moron can tell that it is CGI because it looks exactly like CGI, not like something real. Looking at such images and believing that they are photographs means that one is an imperceptive idiot.)
