Strange dreams

I happened upon a large cave that was underneath a large collapsed elevated freeway entrance ramp. The freeway had pancaked onto the earth because its main piling had been undermined by the flow of water which created the large cave. Inside the cave were a number of large waterfalls, stairways and fancy catwalks on either side... exotic plants, rocks and mineral outcroppings abound... with a huge boulder at the end of the cave. I approached the boulder and beyond it lay another brightly-lit large underground chamber which was an orthodox church. Beyond this was another mammoth chamber lit as bright as day and fillled with luxury homes. Immediately I recognized this cave as an area that I'd frequented as a child, but which used to be empty and unoccupied. I then realized that I was dreaming, but that this cave was actually real and resolved to make a mental note upon waking up to revisit this cave in the awake world.

Upon waking some time later I was disappointed that this place only existed in the dream and I had never been there before.

Do you know your animal yet?

Mine's a crow.
Last nite I had a terrifying nitemare

I was walking in the deep desert, allofasudden a half dozen HUGE spiders colored orange and black with spherical bodies the size of volleyballs, surfaced from the sands very close to me and moved to attack.

I jumped out of bed and woke up on the other side of the room, it took like five minutes before I could calm down enough to get back to sleep

'The World Wide Web'... I do not think that word means what you think it means.

'The World Wide Web'... I do not think that word means what you think it means.

In Hindu mythology, the whole universe can be seen as one big web:

"Indra's net" is an infinitely large net of cords owned by the Vedic deva Indra, which hangs over his palace on Mount Meru, the axis mundi of Buddhist and Hindu cosmology. In this metaphor, Indra's net has a multifaceted jewel at each vertex, and each jewel is reflected in all of the other jewels.[4]

In the Huayan school of Chinese Buddhism, which follows the Avatamsaka Sutra, the image of "Indra's net" is used to describe the interconnectedness of the universe.[4] Francis H. Cook describes Indra's net thus:

Far away in the heavenly abode of the great god Indra, there is a wonderful net which has been hung by some cunning artificer in such a manner that it stretches out infinitely in all directions. In accordance with the extravagant tastes of deities, the artificer has hung a single glittering jewel in each "eye" of the net, and since the net itself is infinite in dimension, the jewels are infinite in number. There hang the jewels, glittering "like" stars in the first magnitude, a wonderful sight to behold. If we now arbitrarily select one of these jewels for inspection and look closely at it, we will discover that in its polished surface there are reflected all the other jewels in the net, infinite in number. Not only that, but each of the jewels reflected in this one jewel is also reflecting all the other jewels, so that there is an infinite reflecting process occurring.[5]
