Me to fambly on 'slack' (if you don't know what that's like, it's sort of a Discord for Boomer parents):

I didn't bother with the technicality that a 'battery' and a 'cell' are different things. A battery is a bunch of cells in series of course, and a solid state junction is just two half-reactions, not a 'battery'. But I was using the American patois which doesn't know the difference.
