One needs to think positively here - "this glass is half full" - this might mean that one half of the Evangelicals do not agree with this notion, and that number is probably only going to go up as time passes:

During the so-called "Ellis Island Migration" period, which in its widest sense reached from the American Civil War era to the Vatican II era, the mainstream Protestant churches of America were quickly sliding into liberal apostasy (as the Calvinist Theonomist Gary North painstakingly documented in his huge book Crossed Fingers: How the Liberals Captured the Presbyterian Church), while at the same time the socially conservative Roman Catholic immigrants were pouring in. This soon made many Protestants (like Teddy Roosevelt for example) conscious of the "race suicide" they were committing, as illustrated in this picture below - the upper-class establishment Protestants being childless, while the ghetto Papists were having plenty of offspring.

(There were also lots of fundamentalist Protestants in the American heartland, who still had big families, but they lacked the elite social status that liberal WASP Prods possessed.)

The American WASP "race suicide" began to be a thing around 1900, as shown by the reaction of Teddy Roosevelt (who himself had six children). Heinrich Himmler later saw similar development taking place in Germany around the same time:

At a 1942 speech delivered to the SS and German police leadership, Himmler spoke of the struggle of the races and the need to fight off the Asiatic horde. Even while he attacked the “perversity” of Christian morality, he took a favorable view of the Catholic teaching that a childless marriage was the “greatest sin of all.” Himmler stated his belief that “the decline in our birthrate around 1900 coincided with the time when the German people began to inwardly free themselves from their very keen commitment to the churches.” This aspect of Christian orthodox teaching, Himmler declared to the assembled party members, “we can only welcome from a biological and racial point of view.”78​

He was right about the Asiatic horde, but Christianity is part of that Asiatic invasion. Irish immigration in America in the 1800s provoked our first immigration crisis and set off the WASP suicide, which was only formalized in the 1960s. Diversity of any form does not work.
