War in Ukraine highlights a fatal flaw in ultranationalism, that adherents often suffer from a narrow view of things, and are willing (often to the point of fanaticism) to throw their lives away and ruin their country forever just to war against their neighbor, ultimately on behalf of deeply malevolent far-away foreign powers.
In this case, Ukrainian and some Europeon nazis are serving as willing dupes for a pervert regime that mutilates and sexualizes children, dispossesses and subsumes their founder population, and views nationalism as (at best) an ideology that should be extirpated.
I hav no sympathy for these fools, and just hope theyre all converted into cold meat before they can do any more damage.

They are also filled with fantasies of Western economic prosperity. Many of those imbeciles believe they would be living in a wealthy nation today if not for bad old Russia. The same cargo cult mentality about western prosperity is found in most of Eastern Europe.

Yeah, in times like this many Far Right types learn to appreciate some of the "Old Left" viewpoints - here, for example, is how old-school Socialists like Jack London in the early 20th century sought to discourage militarism (in the bourgeois states, that is; in the Communist state, militarism immediately became a sacred duty for the proletariat).
Even we Hard Right folks no longer see the soldiering profession quite so glorious when we can see what foul causes it can support:
