Commentary on the Prigozhin Coup Attempt

Prigo owned a troll farm and a hot dog stand. He and Putin were friends since the early 90s. They got the news media, Lindsey Graham and the CIA talking about nukes seriously. CIA got trolled, the news media got trolled, Lindsey Graham got trolled, but most of all our beloved Petr got trolled bc Prigo visits this forum and loves Petr.

They got the US government through Lindsey Graham to seriously start talking about article 5 which is basically arming the nukes. The whole world saw it and all they had to do was act as if... Putin is brilliant.

I first started having some suspicions about Prigozhin when I read this on Wikipedia:

Prigozhin was born and raised in Leningrad (now Saint Petersburg) in the Soviet Union on 1 June 1961,[21] to Violetta Prigozhina (Russian: Виолетта Пригожина).[22][23][24] His father died early, and so his mother supported him and his sick grandmother by working at a local hospital.[25] His father and stepfather were of Jewish descent.[26]
During his school years, Prigozhin aspired to be a professional cross-country skier. He was trained by his stepfather Samuil Zharkoy, who was an instructor in the sport, and attended a prestigious athletics boarding school from which he graduated in 1977.[22][27] However, his career in sport was ultimately unsuccessful.[28]
In November 1979, 18-year-old Prigozhin was caught stealing and given a suspended sentence. Two years later, in 1981, he was again caught stealing, and sentenced to twelve years imprisonment for robbery, fraud, and involving teenagers in crime.[29] He and several accomplices were convicted of robbing apartments in upscale neighborhoods. He was pardoned in 1988, and was released in 1990.[28] In total, he spent nine years in detention.[7]

Of course everything you read in the Western Media about any of this is Stercus Bovinus.

That is axiomatic.

Why are we even still discussing this?

This is the beginning of the end of Putin. Clearly, Prigozhin was given encouragement from somebody high up in the military and there is a faction that wants Putin out. Also, this does not play well for the future of the war in Ukraine. A few months ago, I predicted Putin would be out of power by the end of summer and this may be the opening gambit.

Let me be clear, I am predicting what I think will happen based on my knowledge of what is going on behind the scenes, not what I want to happen,

Well, I think this episode has flushed out quite a few people who are not all that committed pro-Russians, but actually have a rather contemptuous attitude towards Russia, thinking it can be overthrown just like that.

As Baron put it:

"So, when the coup unfolded, what did we find? Nobody supported Prigozhin except the enemy, except known traitors. Within hours, he was denounced by every governor in the country, the president, every major political party, and every prominent Telegram channel."

Also, it had been PUTIN HIMSELF who had made Prigozhin such an exceptional figure, thus giving him exceptional status as a potential coup leader.

If anything, after this failure the next potential coup leader, who would be lacking Prigozhin's fame, would carefully think twice about his chances.

My comment on this again: if Trump and Putin both end up in jail, or dead, that will be the last of the Two Augusti.

And then, GAME ON.

It will be up to the 'Master of the Game' (ludimagister) how Roman fare.

I do think Trump will end up in jail. Even if he somehow makes it through the classified documents kangaroo court, there are 12 angry men in New York City waiting to convict him of anything. That woman in New York couldn't even remember what year she was raped, much less the month or day and yet somehow, they found her credible.

The Dems may pardon him after 6 months or so as a gesture of good will once they seize power again.

it wasnt a "coup attempt", lol. :wagner: It was an internal battle between military commanders, a rebellion if you will. But there never was the stated goal of ousting Putler.

It all appears to be resolved now. The whole thing lasted about 24 hours. Hopefully grievances will be addressed, Shoigu should probly be removed, as should Prigo. Send 'em both to the principal's office

The putsch (a coup comes from another segment of government) was stillborn. Neither popular nor segmental government support from within Russia materialized from any quarter. The only people cheering him were globohomo governments, their stooges and Jewkraine. The march toward Moscow was more about Prigo extracting some sort of negotiated settlement instead of being liquidated. The KGB in Belarus will probably off Prigo at their leisure.

Any military anywhere close to what happened should watch their backs though. Nothing against grunts but I'd be surprised if deserters don't get the Stonewall Jackson penalty from Gods and Generals

If they don't get executed outright, they might find their next poastings undesireable.

Personally, if it were me, I'd have them executed. At a minimum, the Roman custom is to 'deny fire and water' (the means of cooking food (fire), and sure death in 3 days (no water)... if you don't obey what Murka we call SUNSET LAWS'

I think the customary Roman punishment for mutiny was decimation, that is every tenth man being killed by his fellow legionaires

That movie was Yank propaganda going for the 'Christmas Peace' take on WW1 though. Pure Socialism as if they didn't know whichever side won they was gonna rape 'em.

Our movie is more like 'Alien v Predator'

The scene where Stonewall orders the execution of traitors on his own side is a lot more relevant.

Then there is this...
